I am working on updating my character design, to whit I have gone back to how he will emote and convey his thoughts to others, and the audience. My first step was to go through and try to set up a way for the separate emotional states to shine through based on a relatively simplistic design aesthetic.
I will move from this to redesigning the lip-synch shapes to feel better based on the new design.
This is my newest Demo Reel. having been tweaked slightly from my first pass based on comments by colleagues whose opinions I value.
In this reel I am pleased to include the work that I did while working at Rhythm & Hues on “The Golden Compass”. The work we did went on to receive the Oscar for Visual Effects, something that I feel incredibly lucky to have contributed to in even a small way.
