Last night was the BAFTA awards, the British equivalent to the Oscars.
The Golden Compass won the Visual Effects award, beating out 4 other top tier films.

This is truly cool, I will have to track down the acceptance speech that Bill gave at the ceremony, it was shown on BBC America but I missed it.
